I have, and it is some very good eating. One adult nutria dressed out will have about as much meat as half a dozen rabbits.

I've used it to make gumbo, sauce piquant, stew and it is very good.

Is it a difficult game animal to "dress out", compared to, say, a squirrel? Squirrel is of course smaller but they are not easy to dress out for dinner.

Just larger, but no real problem dressing them out

So you've seen the height of the levees in Sacramento and the marina that has floating docks that seem to go up 25feet when the river is in flood. Those levees could be phenomenal nutria condos.
