Thanks a ton. Ideally would get a 124060 or 126610 at retail but I’ve been watch-less for about 2 months now and am desiring a new timepiece.

Loved my black bay 58 but the “soft touch” and NATO band were a bit too small

I have the BB58 blue. love the size for my wrist. Case dimensions very similar to 5 digit sub, but without crown guards. I also have the BB Heritage, which I never wear because I have been slow to warm to the slab-like case dimensions, despite owning it a couple of years.

Even if you have the money, why? Buy a Citizen Ecodrive for $200. It’ll last 10 years or more. Excellent watch and decent style. Donate the rest to Salvation Army.

Just kidding.

Try a local food bank or your church.

Do you think the same when you see someone with a 16' jon boat or a side by side?

Ah so a watch, to some of you, is comparable to something used for recreation like hunting and fishing.
Now I get it. I really do.
I'm just poor and drive an old camry with two missing hubcaps. My family harasses me about buying two new ones. But $100 is a waste of money to cover a rim. It's me not y'all.

You sure Zadok doesn’t sell them?

Walked in on the salesman letting my teen twins try on an A. Lange & Söhne for fun…….it was $250k. My response was visceral, “take it off. Take it off now and gently hand it back to the nice man.”

My first luxury watch was a submariner purchased for $3200 using lawsuit cash burning a hole in my pretentious pocket. It’s now appraised at $10,500.

The others have been for various special occasions. On my 50th, my wife bought me an omega sea master planet ocean chrono. Love that watch.

I get it now. But $8,000 is a lot of money for one thing no matter what the indulgence. That's more than I make in month.
Still wondering what you MFers do to afford that kind of shite.

I don't think so, at least I don't remember them having in the last time I was there but that has been 2-3 years ago. Blancpain is one of the more niche watches and their Fifty Fathoms line is probably the vast majority of their sales.
