I plan to as soon as one is released, if it ever is.

Apparently she was not in favor of any services, so my uncle respected her wishes and did not have any. For those curious, she was cremated.

The support shown in this thread has been so incredible and I want to thank all of you for your wishes, prayers, and kind words expressed through her diagnosis, remission, being diagnosed again, and even after her passing. This community is special and I'm so proud to be a small part of it.

God bless you and your family, hopefully these situations will inspire the rest of us to cherish each other and this precious life a little more. It’s certainly fleeting with not even tomorrow guaranteed. That’s what makes it all so beautiful, even when it feels like it isn’t.

Indeed, as one day you are here the next you are cremated and gone. Why sweat the small stuff?
