I have a speed queen stacking washer/dryer, I think the model is FW7. Last night I was doing laundry and it stopped about 10 minutes in and came up with an error code EE 66.

I looked online and in the instruction manual and I couldn't find anything about EE 66. I couldn't get the machine to do anything so I took my wet clothes out and went out and shut off power at the fuse box (Can't reach to unplug it in my laundry closet). I tried to run it to drain it and got the same error code.

I can't easily get in behind it because it's heavy as shite and filled with water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The machine is about 1.5 years old.

Not an expert, but from my experience it’s likely the drain pump. Not familiar with that model but I’ve had to replace mine and it wasn’t bad. Less than 45 min job.

I'd start pumping that water out manually somehow.

Check if there is an access panel on the front to get to a trap/strainer. I don't have a speed queen, but my front-load whirlpool has had issues with a sock making it through the rubber gasket and ending up blocking the pump inlet. There is a trap that holds everything and emptying that out reset the error code.

I'm just seeing this.

Re:: paging me. I don't "joxy" often or forget to. If you need help ever email me at napoleontd @ gmail.com

I'll gladly help.

Your problem sounds like a clogged drain. You will need to clean out the drain and reassemble. If the motor for the pump is bad, it's because Speed Queen jumped the shark and uses Huwai style motors instead of oversized like they used to.
