Had no idea Bham bars stayed open that late.

That being said, on Sundays, you cannot be served alcohol before noon. That sucks.


As for Moe's comment, I was referring to the talent and bar crowd, not the food. Moe's usually has a panic cover band or blues band on Friday nights. I heard last weekend was dead as a door nail in Lakeview though.

Yea that's the only reason people go to Nana Funks.. that shite is packed after 2am on weekends.

It is a shithole but I dont mind playing free pool on sundays with the beer specials every once in a while. The wife isnt too fond of it but Ill go there with the guys.

Hell in Shelby County you can't buy it at all on a Sunday.

Marty Died of cancer several months back. Family closed it. BLZR said it reopen under new Management but I have not heard that.

I believe that's true of just about every "wet" county or town other than Jefferson Co & B'ham.

I went to Bham earlier this month and the southside area is wonderful...lots of stuff in walking distance and its pretty vibrant..not sure what part you are moving to though.

Where's the job? In matters in my opinion and unless you can walk to english village I wouldn't want to live in mountain brook .

Unless you're married with kids you have no reason to spend the money to live in Mountain Brook.

Crestwood, Crestline, Highland Park and Avondale is where the single womenz at.

I'm kinda an expert in this category so trust me.
