Paging all model plane/tank/boat enthusiasts...Did any of you know Duncan Strachan?

He lived in the lower garden district and had one of the most impressive WW2 model collections ever...literally thousands of them lined up on floor to ceiling shelving. It was extremely impressive to see. He passed away in 2007 and I have no idea what happened to the collection.
I was able to find a link to an estate sale where you can see some of the collection but it's doesn't show the real collection.

I have no idea what any of this means, but I figured I’d help this thread anyway

That really shows how men are better than women
Give a man a brain tic and he builds a fleet of intricately hand painted models. Give a woman the same and she buys a weighted blanket and obsesses over serial killer documentaries. Really makes you think about the voting process

It’s true. I have probably over 150 models in my model room, all of which I built and painted by hand.
How many does my wife have? Zero.

No, but my wife & her family did. He owned an actual, operable WWII tank, too. Not sure what happened to that.
