Eccentric lower & upper weren't awful. But I think it's bc it's only 30 minutes.

Finished incinerator today. Burnout was 2:20 of P-A-I-N.

the 2 toughest workouts thus far have been triometrics & the warrior. First time around with triometrics I was BURNT with 3 minutes still to go.

I'm getting ripped though only on week 5.

That's awesome. I'm on my second round of X2 and I'm far from ripped.

Strong as an ox, but not ripped. It's demoralizing.

Eccentric upper was killer. Lower wasn't.

So far the challenge, incinerator, and eccentric upper have been superb workouts in only 30 minutes.

The warrior was crazy too. Haven't done triometrics yet.

Why did you do lower before triometrics?

Ah. Yea I should have done mass. I'm getting ripped but my arms haven't seen a lot of progress.

Although I'll be patient because I noticed weeks 5-7 is heavy weights and upper.

I may have underestimated Eccentric Lower.

My legs are actually pretty sore today.

MMX sucks. I was sweating when finished but it's just like kenpo which I never liked from the original p90x. and my shoulder is fricked up a bit so those left punchers are hard for me.

What do you guys recommend for dumbbell weights on P90X3?

Would a set of 10, 20 and 30's work? I'm just getting started and am a medium sized dude.

That's a good place to start.

But if you're really serious, get a full set. Or a set of adjustable ones like power blocks.

I liked kenpo from the first p90x 100x more than MMX. That said it was much easier to follow the second time around.

Question for you guys who did the 1st p90x...is it normal not to sweat as much on the more weight lifting intense days? I'm drenched on plyo and others but besides soreness I don't feel that bad after the weight lifting days, and it's not an issue of dogging it.

Yes normal, expect to sweat more with the more cardio type workouts than the ones with weights. Heart rate goes up and stays up, sweat comes out. Cheers

I'm in week 3 and there are still some exercises i struggle to finish within the 60 second time frame.

Most notably elevator push-ups in warrior and the Spider-Man squats in CVX. I am just gassed by the time these come up.

THIS. I found a pair of powerblocks on craigslist, came with bench and stand. Best purchase i've ever made honestly. I love them

I'm only on week 2 and I think the hardest is CVX. I have that one tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it.

I actually started to like Agility and I'm looking forward to The Warrior. I did The Challenge today...I like pushups and pullups, but I do bands because I don't have a pullup bar.
