Anybody done the whole Insanity program? What kind of results did you get? Worth it?

Has anyone seen the new 22 Minute Hard Corps from Tony Horton?

They started making porn over at beachbody?

I don't understand the joke and I won't respond to it.

No. It's not out yet.

Yeah, it comes out in a week. Just wondering if anyone "obtained" a copy.

Random question - I'm doing P90x for the first time trying to lean up. I cannot get into the YogaX routine. I'd rather use that 1.5 hours to go on a good run. Has anybody tried this?

That's my favorite yoga routine ever. The first 50 minutes of yoga are outstanding. I rarely do the remainder of the balance poses because 1.5 hours is too long and I have shite to do.
Just do the yoga up until the end of Warrior 3 and you will have done more than enough.

Yoga is better for you than running. Yoga makes you stronger, more flexible, and gives your body a better look than running does.

Yoga is so legit.
It really is, and it makes you more attractive to women.

Do the yoga. Everyone skips the yoga, including me, but once you start doing it, it really pays off. Every other workout gets easier if you do the yoga.
If you don't like the time, then get P90X3. 30 minutes/day.

FYI, Tony Horton's new program 22 Minute Hard Corps is on Amazon for $40...that seems like a deal for 8 workouts (two DVD's), right?
Posted on 3/16/16 at 11:18 am to The Sad Banana
I wouldn't do it, tbh. It seems Tony is going the whole "intro to fitness" route. If you're severely overweight and have never worked out before, do it. But, you've been at this for a while. Time to do something different.

I'm looking to do two things...add a little mass and definition. I want to add mass with P90X resistence and definition with this kind of 22 minute cardio/resistance hybrid on non resistance days.

From my experience, if you want the mass, kick the cardio. It's hard to gain pounds when you spend two days on cardio and you're burning 600 calories on those days. Unless you're new, which I know you're not, your choices are to bulk or cut. You really can't do both...unless you take steroids. Besides, you'll be surprised how much the extra muscle will look good on you in the midsection, and then it's pretty easy to cut.

I have been looking for a good mass routine. Body Beast?
Posted on 3/16/16 at 12:13 pm to The Sad Banana
Body Beast is good if you have adequate weights. I stopped working out at home and started going to Planet Fitness just so I could have access to more weights and machines.
I have incorporated some Body Beast stuff into my routine, and the same with Tony (mostly core yoga-ish) stuff. Oh, and the 4 med ball pushup. That makes people look at you like you're some athletic freak.
If your dumbbells only go to 55 pounds then it's tough to get mass, imo. That's just how it was with me. I hate to say it, but I pretty much hit my ceiling with Beach Body and, while I wasn't unhappy with the results, I didn't get the results I really wanted.
So, I did some research on Bodybuilding.com and I joined a cheap gym. Now, I'm starting to see a little bit more mass and I'm getting stronger (especially my legs).

My weights to to 95 each. I got those Bowflex Selectech ones off a dude on Craigslist (true story, I matched with my now almost 2-year GF on Tinder while picking them up in Kenner...she was at the airport).
Thanks, Uncle Tony! I feel like I want to try the 22 Minute Hard Corps 8 week routine with three P90X resistance days MWF on top of it.
