Triometrix was a lot of fun last night. What a great workout.

I still have to do that one when I get home today. Not sure how many times I woke up last night, but it was enough to give a big middle finger to waking up at 5:30 to get in a workout.

This is assuming that you can pushup yourself up today after a good bit of rest.

It feels right now I could go and do the video again BUT, I know that wouldn't happen. I guess I felt like it was a waste yesterday bc I didn't do the entire video and I wasn't a bit sore today.

It happens to me every time I do The Challenge and to a certain extent Eccentric Upper (goes through the same routine of push-ups as The Challenge) By the time I'm almost done with the workout I'm on my knees trying desperately just to get in 1 or 2 and every single week I can do a little bit more than the last one. It's definitely not a waste at all.

Any ideas on what was going on? No way I could be dehydrated bc I drink 1 gallon of water a day (not including some crystal light I drink with supper)

You worked your chest to failure. That's a good thing, it's how you get the biggest strength gains.

It's not surprising that you're not sore. After the initial few days of soreness your body adapts and you won't feel that pain every time.

Yup. Most strength training guides will tell you to work to failure each set, then rest 1 to 2 minutes, then do it again. There's nothing wrong with it and it has happened to me countless times while lifting heavy. The fact that you couldn't go anymore at all just means that you gave it everything you had. And that happening while doing push-ups is a helluvalot less dangerous than that happening while doing bench press. Now that shite is scary.

Any time you get off your arse and move around and get the heart rate up is never a waste.

And don't judge your workouts by how sore you are or aren't. If I did that it means I only have a good workout a few times a year.

Started Total Body Circuit this afternoon....then had to stop like 3 minutes in.

My PF in my left foot seriously bugging me. Stopped video and been rolling my foot with a frozen water bottle and doing calf stretches before going to work.

Last time I did all of T25 I had issues with PF(that was actually when I first started showing symptoms of it and was diagnosed).

Maybe I should switch back to 21 day fix videos? So frustrating.

Yeah it does. My inserts came apart (the ones I put in my shoes for workouts). Just ordered some more online.

Also...I think I'm due for new cross trainers. So I'm gonna try to finish the week out. See if new inserts and shoes helps.

To clarify...I was doing many of the modified moves too so it wouldn't make my foot flare up. Basically any moves with a lot of jumping around...my girl Tania was my guide

So I tried Shakeology for the first time this am. Um it taste horrible. I mixed it with a scoop of ON protein powder, water and almond milk.

Ideal Shape taste way better for a meal replacement!

got in my Triometrics yesterday when I got home and it whooped my arse as usual. Putting off Yoga until after work today.

I think I'm going out of town for the 4th and decided to look ahead to block 3 and see exactly what I had in store and to see what I may be having to do on vacation and holy shite does it look brutal.

Dr., I had my hernia surgery last week (12th). No complications so far. I have targeted July 12 as my P90X3 restart date. Realistic or too ambitious?

Was anybody else massively disappointed with Rip't Circuit? Yes, I have the resistance bands, which makes some exercises impossible (and they should tell you as much) but even outside that, I didn't think I got a great workout in. I am sweating, but not much; I little to no muscle fatigue; and the only thing I feel like got a decent workout was my abs thanks to the 5 count power abs.

For those that have done beta all the way through, did you modify anything? Even the guy on the video was struggling with the bands, so I can imagine buying dumbbells will help, but anything else? I hesitate to buy 'em when I have no faith in the routine. Don't want to blow the cash.

Most surgeons would say 6 weeks before exercise but some say 4 if it's not weight lifting.

When's you post op follow up?

Ask your surgeon.

Regardless though you shouldn't lift weights for 6 weeks post op but if he thinks you're healed enough to start lighter stuff go for it.

I wasn't crazy about the taste either, but it has grown on me. Besides, all I care about are the results, and wow did I get them.

Make sure you're not adding too much water or milk.
