I was literally stuck on the I-10W overpass above Highland in some 2 hr hold-up just yesterday on my way back from Houston on the way home to NOLA that made me late for the Saints game.

When traffic started moving, there was no sign of police, wrecked cars, tow trucks, etc..

I actually clicked on this thread thinking it was an explanation to yesterday's mystery. Instead, it's an announcement of yet another frick up near the same spot.

right before i moved i was stuck on i-12 for at least an hour because a bozo was literally hanging from an exit sign and refused to come down

then he just got bored and jumped down

it's like an act of god

Drivers operating big rigs with little experience, low IQ, poor driving skills, and fudging on their hours driven logs. Add in our own special crop of idiots driving POS vehicles while texting and/or racing and you quickly understand all the millionaire shysters building their own buildings and pasting their smug faces on TV’s and billboards all over the state.

My experience with 18-wheeler drivers in LA, they act like they own the road, do whatever they want, switch lanes, slow down, speed up, and DGAF about anything or anyone around them.

There's a huge truck stop at the first Denham exit. They constantly block traffic and run red lights. They will pull out and block all lanes of traffic until the far lane clears and then can pull across. They give zero fricks.

Be careful Festus. The useful idiots will be here white knighting for the truckers shortly.

It’s a well known fact that over half of these so called professional truck drivers jerk it while driving. I’d like to think it is limited to driving in the middle of nowhere but let’s not kid ourselves.

So you’re telling me that every trucker uses electronic log books? I don’t know anything about truckers other than I passed that thing today and have no idea HOW THE frick he managed to do what he did. I was stuck in that traffic earlier.

One thing you can plainly see driving an RV... Damn near everyone is looking at their phones... including truck drivers.

TRAFFIC UPDATE

It appears as though I-10 W has reopened between Bluff Rd. and Highland Rd. after an overturned 18-wheeler had the interstate closed for a while. Delays persist back to LA 30 (Tanger exit) in Gonzales.

And not just looking at it. Staring at it, practically about to make out with the phone.
