What a terrible take, are you really trying to argue that Baton Rouge would have the parade with no police working it? They wouldn’t even be able to clear the route without cops

Who would be more likely to stop a parade? Broome or LaToya?

As far as New Orleans, Jazz Fest tickets are a terrible investment.

I respect those who can find happiness in mediocrity and imitation.

You should head to one of the many quality BR dining establishments after.

Can't imagine.

You do realize you can't just up and have a parade right? Permits are involved. The city provides law enforcement and if the parade is told that it can't go.. And they do, they can be arrested.. But all they have to do is say "the parade is cancelled" send it out on social media and the news and then no one will go.

No permit, no parade. The cops at BQuick said this morning there are several of their guys with symptoms that went to the doctor and weren’t tested.

I can confirm feeling low energy and nausea some mornings before work, but that is only because I know I am about take more risk and get paid 40% less than my peers with other agencies.

ETA: No chatter about anything being cancelled due to coronavirus in Baton Rouge as of yet. Fear monger away.

Permits are for communist. Are you a Commie?

Just drive slow down Perkins road and toss beads. You don’t need cops to do that.

South by Southwest just lost between 350-400 million for canceling. That kind of money just isn’t thrown away.

SXSW is just a bunch of over reacting Austin hippies trying to to stay relevant and trendy by canceling.

Nothing to do with cops.
