You can scroll down his FB page for five seconds to see his posts on Shawn Anderson, including one about how he delivered a baby on the side of the road. Would y'all rather convince yourself he's championing cop killings or be reassured that he's not? I don't like the guy but that's a line he hasn't crossed.

I don't have FB so I can't see his FB page so if he did recognize the killing of officer Shawn Anderson in a respectable way then I applaud him for doing so and not turning it into an issue.
With that said, I don't think the best time to post something like "Only 8 cops have been killed this year" is days after an officer in his community was killed while doing an investigation.
When you throw in the fact a policeman in the community was just killed and someone like him post "ONLY 8 cops.......".. To me, it comes off as saying "Well, its sad that one of our police officers have been shot and killed, BUT don't forget only 8 police officers have died this year while 200+ people have been killed by police.. So its not THAT bad".

He only did that because of what the mayor had stated about the event. I even give the mayor credit for going out to the scene with the police officers.

I just emailed the Mayor's secretary with a screen shot of his post and called on her to remove him from his advisory position and to publicly denounce him. I am following up by sending this to my Councilman and a couple of local reporters I know. This bullshite pissed me the frick off. Any other time this might push the line but it is WAY over the day before the funeral.
