MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office investigators say they have arrested two suspects for the murders 40-year-old Ronald “Anthony” Miletello and his mother, 68-year-old Marsha Lolley. Court documents allege that they were killed in early May after a planned burglary of Miletello's home.

20-year-old Toby Jackson and 30-year-old Candance Beau Cooper, of Monroe, have been booked in the Ouachita Correctional Center on two counts each of second-degree murder. According to Monroe PD, one of the suspects, Jackson, was a work-release inmate who escaped in March. He was still on the loose until this arrest.

According to arrest warrant applications for Cooper and Jackson, the suspects made contact with Miletello online the night before in an effort to trade illegal drugs for a firearm. Cooper told investigators that she lured Miletello to her house to make the transaction. Meanwhile, Jackson was to burglarize Miletello's house while was he was away.

The filing states that Cooper told investigators Jackson returned to her home a short time later and told her that he killed Miletello's mother. Miletello, unaware that his mother had been killed, went with the suspects to "an unknown location in the sticks" to shoot the aforementioned gun.

When they arrived, Cooper says, Jackson and Miletello got out of the vehicle and a short time later she heard several gunshots in which Jackson shot Miletello.

So did this go as planned or not go as planned.

And so many stereotypes.
