That shite is fricking weird. When that happened to me, I think that's what triggered my hatred for everyone.

Limiting contact and engagement with your surrounding environment can help here. Works for me, and at age 60 I'm more relaxed than many people half my age.

Just recently have I noticed this. I pretty much hate the generation behind mine in its entirety. Bunch of lazy, self absorbed, entitled little shits with nothing to offer but a bunch of excuses. Not a game changer in the bunch.

I get cranky old man syndrome at one place:

The grocery store.

I am a straight up a-hole...I have no tolerance for people with their carts positioned perpendicular to the aisle. I will hit that shite destruction derby style.

Thank God I'm not the only one. 31 here. 2 kids and married for reference. I feel like I could punch through steel at times at the drop of a hat. I thought I was becoming a major a-hole or something suddenly.

You're right. The grocery cart isn't a literal Destruction Derby car.

about to turn 39 and feeling like this more and more

I'm happiest when I'm alone, drinking a beer, smoking a cigar, and listening to some tunes....quietly

At some point you just get tired of the BS.

The older I get, the more I just enjoy being alone. I've been to baseball games, football games and movies by myself. IDGAF

It also happens when you get a real job and you look at the withholdings. Then you see others getting free shite.

No need, we already have an old folks board. It smells like Ben Gay in there.
