A friend of mine has a brother who was diagnosed in his mid 20's. He's now in his later 20's and hospice has been called in. He has a wife and a young daughter. Just an all around tragic, sad situation.

I hardly think a 24 yr old frat guy in med school doesn't have some money in the family. All I am saying is his parents probably still carry him on their insurance and I would bet his family is loaded...father is probably a dr.

But yall throw caution to the wind nobody ever tries to scam people these days

I can assure you that this is no scam (says the random TD poster who hides behind a user-name) and that Sam is not the type of guy who would squander your money.

As far as his family being wealthy; if they were, they didn't show it. Sam was two years younger than I, so I don't know all the details but he didn't drive a fancy car and didn't act like an entitled douche like normal spoiled brats.

Even with insurance the bills will be astronomical

My dad has been fighting cancer for 2 years and since he was smart enough to choose a higher deductible plan, his bills have been zilch in comparison to what they could have been.
