So you had your rotors turned without replacing the pads?
Honestly I don't always turn my rotors, it sounds to me like it's possible they didn't lube the friction points and you are getting the squeaking.

EBC makes some quality brake parts, we put their heavy duty towing pads on the hotshot trucks and they made a huge difference in loaded stopping distance. Going to try their race specific pads on the little Luv next time it needs pads.

damn, MJ2 this has to be the dozenth time you shared some car part that I decided to covent, I know we have the same ride, so I already know they make it for my truck.
I do have to say the Tacoma is probably the easiest brake pad swap in this history of vehicles.

If it doesn't straighten out in a day or so, take it back....there is a tube of shite that they are supposed to apply to the back of the new break pads to prevent that....

Put a ton of grease on the rotors. That should stop any squeaks.

One of my work trucks is hard to beat. My guys pull a trailer every day so they abuse brakes and we have to replace pads often. It's an '04 Chevy and I can change all 4 pads in an hour give or take.

The actual caliber itself slides on 2 pins. If they aren't greased when the pads are changed brake dust will get on there and it'll squeak like hell..

Yep. Sometimes these dealerships will use their 'value-line' brake pads or sometimes they will call the local parts store for a set of cheapos.
Always insist on OE pads, you will pay more for them but they are a lot better than the cheapo pads.
BTW, do what others are saying, hit your brakes a few times.
