OT Lawyers: vehicle registration law

If an offroad vehicle is retitled in another state as a street vehicle and issued plates and registration, is there a statute barring registering said unit in Louisiana?
I have found statute barring offroad vehicles onroad, however, I cannot find statute concerning the transfer of registered plated vehicles into louisiana.
The vehicle in question is a side-by-side with blinkers, a horn, and a license plate.
Eta: and how long will the out of state registration be allowed.

You can register it in Louisiana as an assembled vehicle. Other than that I don't see a way to have it street legal.
As far as how long using the out of state plates, I don't know.

You can get a title but not register it. I did that to a project jeep that was not running. One it was ready I got insurance and regrestration.

What if you have an out of state registration, in a state that allows it, but have your home address and title listed?
I have reviewed title 47, but I can't find any information concerning the registration of vehicles in this state which have been certified and registered as street legal in another state.
