Can you quote where it says he threatened to run over this guy in the past? I didn't see it in that article (I skimmed through since I hate the way they format articles on mobile)

Not true.
Smoke threatened to Run over Kenseth and that was on the track.
Don't blame me. I'm just passing along what Drudge is reporting.

The use of those videos by the mail is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Anyone that has ever watched a NASCAR race knows the crew members get hit all the time and NONE of them are intentional. WOW! Sensationalizing at it's best.

Night Race Go-Pro from the World of Outlaws.
Maybe if people watch, they'll start to understand. Pay attention to the front wheels, not only are they constantly moving, they tend to actually point towards the wall, creating the sliding effect.

And that giant top wing definitely can't block your view if you are behind it.
This is another point, especially the front right where ward approached from. And the accident he was so upset about was very minor and typical racing IMO.

Some fan with camera. Now I know why you know it all and "but you can't make me believe. ..."

and has not beem much of a factor in Sprint Cup either.
Winning the Sprint Cup in 2011 would make me disagree. Ask Carl Edwards if he thought Tony was relevant in 2011.
Tony Stewart has always shown a lot of emotion. He is hardly the hot head of NASCAR as many in the main stream media has said recently. That award would go to Kyle or Kurt Busch IMO.

The old ignorance defense. Classic.

So the alternative argument is that Tony didn't see the guy?
He was distracted, or whatever, or just poor visibility?
Caution is out. Maybe its Kevin, as I did run him into the wall on the last lap. There might be some track workers or emergency personnel on the track... I might better pay attention.

Not blaming you. Just letting you know the truth.
If the media criticized Obama as much as Stewart is getting right now, Obama would have been impeached in his first week in office.

Awful lot of assuming here , Mr. Fact Man.

There is a report that came out today that claims Tony Stewart threatened to run over this kid two years ago.

Again this is a video of a race at full throttle. This was not the case during the incident. Not near as much dust and much better handling of the car at lower speeds.

One of your facts? You sure about this? This ain't I-10. It's a race ... on a race track.

So then why accelerate when he got by ward? Or do you think he just never saw him at any point?
First of all, how do you even know it's accelerating? Second of all, that's how sprint cars turn. This isn't a Toyota Corolla that you can just move the wheel and instantly avoid things.

That is incredibly ignorant to how these cars work, and it's very apparent you have no want to actually learn anything, you just saw a guy get run over and remember that Tony Stewart is a professional race car driver.
The idea that he could see a human being walking down the track, calculate how that human being is going to act, and adjust his turn in time to miss said human being is borderline laughable in this situation. These cars are very nimble in relation to each other, not to slow moving, smaller objects that aren't mimicing their driving patterns.
