Most dirt tracks run no spotters.
Tye top late model class on dirt (use to be hav a tampa not sure name now) run spotters but thats bout it.
I know the bayou sprinters dont have spotters and I cant think of Ne sprints thT do

There's a swerve but in this video it's looks like he may have seen the guy late and swerved to miss him.
I'd also point out that the natural turns in that kind of race involve kicking the tail out as a natural part of the turn, he may very well have been in that type of "drift" then tried to straighten out of it to avoid the guy.
No real way to know, but if the idiot stays in his vehicle and waits for the crew to reach him then he's alive today. Period.

When the story broke someone reported that stewart might have been trying to throw mud on the guy.
If that wouldmt have been stated then everyone claiming how obvious this mid swerve is wouldnt even be brought up byso Many people as fact. Because its far from fact byt since people read it andwant to believe ts is a murderer they run with it

Absolutely. I would really like to know if he had a radio and spotter.

Someone asked about spotters on dirt
The top late model class in the country use to be called tue hav-atampa series. They would run spotters.
But thats only dirt class that I know of that runs spotters. I camt think of any sprint car series that use them. For example the bayou sprint cars do not use spotters because most series go off top levels of their class amd the world of outlaw sprint cars dont allow spotters.

No Spotters. Zipadelli confirmed earlier today.

Yeah the guy should have stayed in his car.
But I think its pretty obvious from the video that TS was atleast trying to frick with him, not hit him though.

Intent means nothing. All about results. A man died due to his recklessness. He won't go to jail, but he will pay out of his arse.

It is harder for me to read what you write than discern what was going on in the video

For those that believe the above statement, have you ever watched a sprint race?

Theres no evidence that he even intended to frick with the guy coming at him.
Earlier today people swore stewart was only guy ridimg high and only one that was close to guy. Video proves everything people are saying is false. Its why the only argument left is people saying he did it on purpose because he threw helmet 10 years ago and its commom sense....although no evidence supports that

It's difficult to say. The first video I saw I thought the same as you. After seeing the second video, and knowing he had no spotter, it looks more like he saw the guy too late and tried to swerve to avoid him.
Posted on 8/10/14 at 7:12 pm to Salmon
The "swerve" everyone keeps talking about only happens after the guys body makes co tack with the car and his body gets tangled in the drive train. That's what pulls the car higher on the track.
Only one person at fault in this accident and he's dead.

It really is a surreal situation.
