I do mornings and I promise you this. Most people couldn't get thru my leg day without vomiting.

Y'all agree, or nah?

My absolute best run was a workout schedule starting between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. and going to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. Now, I was sleeping in shifts - I would crash at about 6:00 in the evening and sleep to 9:30. I'd get up, go to the gym - I'd eat right after, so that's covered in the typical 10:00 to 1:00 schedule, then I'd sleep another 5 or so hours after the workout and meal.

I liked it because we had a 3000 square foot gym at Camp Monteith and if you went at 5:00 (a.m. or p.m.)? There would be 100 guys in there. Some nights, it was just me and the Albanian gym Nazi worker - and all the Polish MTV I could watch for 3 hours.

I go about 1:00 to 1:30, right after the lunch crowd and try to be out before 4:00. I prefer the gym to be pretty empty - just me and a few hard-cores and retirees.

It's been clinically proven that working out in the early afternoon is the best time of day to work out.

If you can't get through legs in the morning, you just haven't adapted yet.

You can work out anytime of the day. You just have to train for it.

And all those who are worried about their 'pump'? Pump is only good for a few hours, it means nothing over the long haul.

Progressive overload FTW!

Sounds like a weak arse leg routine...I was in cardiac arrest just last week cause of my sweet leg gains.

Typically, the folks running the desk provide me with a wheelchair as I leave the gym out of respeck

As for when to work out..I like the mornings..that's when I have the energy to throw my weight around.
