Same here. One guy I know clips his watch to the cart frame and another clips his to a belt loop

I could play with a watch if I had to but I'd rather not.

If I bought an apple watch I would maybe try a gps app but i already have a laser so I'm not gonna buy a golf watch

I wear a white watch to match my white belt and my white glove. All about the matching accent colors bro.

I want someone to drive their VW bug on the fairway and Happy Gilmore this douche every time I see that white watch.

I use golf19 app (free) on phone and it works good enough for me. After all if it is 5 yards off, my game isn't that precise.

I guess the downside to this is that you use data the entire 4 hours of the round.

Bushnell for the win. It has already made my game better.

I can't believe I waited so long to get one.

Loke others, rangefinder. Easy to see yardage to traps, doglegs, water, etc in addition to flags

Do you wear a watch when you play golf?

Because I could never fricking do that.

Yea, he does. I played golf with him last weekend and it looks pretty gay. Throw in the fact that I brought cupcakes to share with the group, we probably had the gayest looking cart on the course.

ETA - I use a Bushnell rangefinder, but not one of the fancy one's that figures out the slope.

I could walk my shite off but it's faster to shoot it

Most courses don't give you pin locations either so it's not as accurate if you are guessing the location

I'm not saying my golf swing is accurate, but a rangefinder is a timesaver if nothing more

Also, some courses are poorly marked nowadays, likely because they think most players have lasers anyway.

I'll usually walk it off if I have a pin sheet. On a random course with no pin sheet and the generic front/middle/back setup, I'll just shoot it.

GPS apps kill my phone battery. Looking to buy a Range Finder. Any suggestions for the best option in the 2-250 range?

Slope thing sounds awesome, but I went $100 hunting one with great Amazon reviews.

I honestly need it more for landmarks. I hit to spots more than pins. Like "big hill on back of green" to hit short of it or something like that.

Try and give myself up hill putts more than I go at the pin.

I step it off and use the yard markers. Helps get a feel for the shot, which is probably why i may have more aces than everyone else in the thread combined.
