6'5 with a large wingspan would hit the same length clubs.

My wingspan is 81", how the hell a guy over a foot shorter than me would wield the same clubs effectively is beyond my understanding.

I'm not a pro by any means - that's why I continue to take lessons. I was encouraged to get longer shafts, and since doing so my swing and game have improved. Anecdotal, I know, but it's what works for me.

A basic measurement is wrist crease to floor measurement is a general rule of thumb, next would definetly be lie angle.

You know the golf now commercial? The old dude is based off of him. They say Old Tom Morris but that is because Ole Man never gave them permission to use his name and likeness. Go play!

If we have the same stance. I have absurdly long legs and I play a little bit higher than is normal.

You may be right, I don't know. All I know is that I am happier with my game since being refitted. It might be placebo, or just my mechanics in general.

Why do some think it's a good strategy to take a statement that works for 99% of people and go find that 1% to claim the statement is wrong.

"oh standard works for everyone huh? What about the statue of liberty? Boom roasted"

Why limit yourself to one type of club, when you can design an entire set of clubs for everyone?
