Been using Cella Shave Soap. It lasts forever and works pretty well.
Just looking to try something new, what do the gentlemen of the OT use?

I've been using the Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood stuff and I like it so far. Good lather and nice scent

Agreed. People on here will try to make anything a status symbol. Go to the dollar store, buy a can of barbasol and shave your face you pussy.

Thanks for chiming in. Clever name, by the way.
Gentlemen only in this thread, please.
You better get some sleep; I'm sure your shift at the plant starts soon.

Dial soap works great.
Plus, it's antibacterial!

I use the "I quit shaving" method. Easy, cheap, chicks love it.

Shaving cream. Cheap shite. Barbasol. I promise you, you will never get laid because of your shave components/techniques. I recommend getting a job or a life first. You need to grow up first son.
Get a life you say? Is that where you talk shite to strangers over the Internet at 2 am? Congratulations, you have arrived, brick layer. Take care

Mama bears. I'm using lime ice right now. Any of them will do though. She makes them at her house. Real nice stuff.

I stopped in the Art of Shaving the other day for the first time. Jesus H Christ that place is expensive.
I first started shaving with a DE razor to save money. Getting a 50 pack of blades for $10 was a big selling point. I started getting razor burn bad, so I looked into what I was doing wrong. Switched from Barbosol to a cheap Nivea shave cream in a tube and got a brush to apply. That, plus a little better technique and now no more burn and I haven't paid a dime for shaving in 3+ months. The cream lasts forever and I'm still on my first order of blades. Plus if you really cared, you can definitely get a lot closer shave if you work at it. I can go against the grain with a fresh blade with no issues. Could never do that with a multi blade razor.
Going to spend a little more on the cream next time just because it lasts forever, so I don't mind getting a better product.

I use the Proraso green or the CO Bigelow from Bath and Body (same stuff, different name). Both work well with a brush.

You use pre-shave oils..?

No, I'm not that into it. But I do throw a hot towel around my neck(I keep a beard)while getting the cream lathered up and that's helped a ton. Like a hot knife through butter now.
