Victor grain free chicken formula was the best food I ever fed my dogs. They stayed lean and had bright coats and tons of energy. I moved and can't find Victor where I am now so I've been feeding them Diamond Naturals Grain Free...its good but nothing like the Victor days. I may start ordering it online.

Keep an eye on diamond. I thought I read where some big name brand bought them out and changed up the recipe for the worse and customers aren't happy
Appreciate this info. Will look into it. I actually bought one bag of Diamond and one bag of SportMix Wholesome LINK
From what I read when I googled it is pretty good, as well, and even cheaper at 27.99 for a 40lb bag. Some of the reviews had them higher than Diamond.
ETA: Just looked a little more in depth. Wholesome is NOT grain free, or all natural. It has rice and rice flour. My mistake.

A few years back I let me dog choose after letting her taste 8 different leading dog foods.
Bil Jac won hands down. Had never heard of them, dogs love their dog food.

While we dont have any dogs, we switched to Wellness for our cats. I know their dog food is highly rated as well.

Not necessarily. Check with your local feed stores.Mine carries the complete line of Victor brand. Have seen it in several others as well.
Victor works well for me.
