It was on I-10 near Highland Rd. It was probably the finest car I had ever seen in the wild.

I believe it was a new car. It had something like “VC-10” on the front quarter panel.

It looked a little like this Jaguar XJ220, but I don’t think it was a Jaguar because I would have recognized the badge or leaping jaguar.

It did have a round badge on the back like a Jaguar, but it was different.

Looked a little like this

That one resembles an Acura NSX.

I don’t believe it was a NSX, unless they have revamped it

Edit:
They did revamp the NSX but it didn’t have the Acura emblem.

It did resemble this 2017 NSX as well

Kind of halfway between a red and a burgundy

NSX was re-released recently.

Could it have been an Aventador SVJ?

ETA I’m focusing on the lettering you said was on the side. Was it large like this or smaller?

It was small, on the front quarter panel, behind the wheel. It wasn’t a decal, it was a badge

I think it may have been a Fisker, but not the Force 1

The quarter panel badging would suggest a 10 cylinder engine and Fisker has used both BMW and Dodge V-10s and tend to badge the quarter panel as you suggested. So poking around the varied Fiskars makes sense.

Viper was the first thing that popped into my mind, but doesn’t really match the XJ220 type of body.

ETA Especially with the giant wing an ACR has.

Trivia, the Fiskar Force 1 is a rebuilt/reimagined Viper using the Dodge as the base car, Fisker was historically a coachworks but now is moving to more of a full care builder with an electric bent.

I thought about the V10 R8 (which has a V10 badge) but figured the OP couldn't have missed the Audi badge.

Now I think it was a Fisker Force One. It has the ??V-10 badge behind the front wheel. It also has the round badge like a Jaguar.
