OT Dads, did you buy the mother of your child a "push present"?

Never heard of it until one of my wife's aunts asked me if I had something picked out yet. Baby is due in January, and apparently I'm supposed to have a nice gift waiting for her. It sounded like a snobby way of forcing a rich guy to buy his wife jewelry to me. So anyone else do something like this, and what did you give?

Yes, but I did not hear about it until the day of the birth.

I got her a some earings and a necklace made out of the child's birth stone.

Maybe get her some toilet paper. Doesn't poo come out simultaneously?

ETA: for some reason the word "push" made me think of number two

No. Go out and independently find a nice going home outfit for the baby.

I guess I did buy my wife a new car the week after the baby, but that wasn't push present, more of "we need more space and a better vehicle" now thing
