Tahoe is bigger and better than the 4-runner in every way. And it will last just as long as the 4-runner.

I know someone who has never owned a POS Tahoe/Yukon, or if you do it hasn't hit the 75K mark. After that few thousand to fix it's gone at 125K, total shite. We were burned on two, got smart and went w/ the 4Runner.

i have a 4Runner limited, I chose it over the Tahoe LTZ because the technology and creature comforts was superior to the Tahoe

I opted for a competitor last year because the 4Runner felt archaic to everything else we drove.

A $50,000 SUV can feature CarPlay, LED headlights, and clean integration with a Smartphone app and still be considered "tough and rugged". The Lexus version has all of that and then some.

You can get that with Volvo, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Honda, Acura, etc.

I looked at used Xterra, 4 Runner, and CRV when I was looking for a vehicle for my son. I ended up buying him a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser.

XTerra-no power, CRV-even less power, 4Runner

2015 xterra 261 hp
2015 Crv 185 Hp
2015 4 runner 270 HP

Xterra is geared like a truck and is a beast off road

4 runner is well a 4 runner X or 4 you can't go wrong
