I prefer Nobis for my yuppy urban expedition wear. Also wholly unnecessary for LA. I use a feathered friends down jacket a under a Westcomb shell on the rare occurrences it gets cold and wet here.

Lol. I'm sure alaska is such a hot bed for the jewelry industry.
Unfortunately the cruise ship docks are lined with them. The same stores you'll find in the Caribbean.

That's fairly easy to do in any thread. State any opinion that cuts against the grain and... boom..
The jackets in question are Veblen goods (Cadillac affect) which relies on snob appeal. The higher the price the higher the demand which goes against the general law of d mand. It's irrational, but fascinating

Wouldn’t the snowflakes be the ones who have a very negative reaction to a coat that people are wearing?

Read the story about how Grey Goose Vodka was marketed.

If I had the Rothschilds money I wouldn't spend a grand for a jacket unless it kept me warm and cleaned and had sex.

Negative? This shite is fascinating. It's consumer behavior that goes against all basic accepted principles of economics.
Marketers are kicking arse
