What are you ever going to use organic chemistry for when you graduate unless you make meth?

I think it's sweet. He clearly loves his kid so much and is just trying to help

Word of advice do not skip the test reviews. Also do not make a trip to atl for the seccog. Failed the final went from an A to barely a C.

a major point of college is learning to take care if yourself

This parent is not helping

One of the major flaws of college is that it rewards the elite who can afford private tutors and special classes, which boosts the students chances of landing the graduate program and/or internships of their choice. Can't say I blame the guy, if he's got the means, for throwing the kid a bone. He'll eventually learn to take care of himself, but let him have the leg up for as long as you can.

didn't use this book or didn't even know of it...but that is exactly what I equated organic chemistry to.

Aren't you the resident geology whiz? If so, I'm surprised to hear you say organic was difficult for you.

Anyway, the book is great. I actually liked organic at times. Had a great professor though.

I didnt ask. I told you to worry about yourself. The thing I hate about these message boards is just asking for some reference and having to deal with insecure people like yourself. However I do get some good advice in spite of the trashtalking that I have to wade through.

I disagree. The parent is simply trying to find a way to help his kid through this obstacle.

A parent trying to fix it for him would be calling the college and/or professor making up some lame arse excuse for his kid. That, I would not agree with. But, helping his kid EARN a decent grade in a difficult course is what a good, loving parent should do.

Organic 1 was easy. Organic 2 was even easier. Congrats on your future business degree.
