I’m very close friends with 2 girls who are dating and they’re normal and cool as frick. My wife has a gay “friend” from college who is flamboyant, obnoxious, and just overall annoying as frick. I say “friend” because him being the way that he is means she hasn’t seen him in years. Anecdotal, but still.

I think gay guys have a bit more conditioning to avoid acting gay. Frankly, I know quite a few gay guys and the only 2 that are flamboyant have major mommy and daddy issues. The others cringe at that whole flamboyant lifestyle and are almost offended by it, as they think it demeans them.
