OPSO SCAT arrest suspect with kilo of cocaine hidden in sports equipment

A traffic stop by Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Deputies on I-20 netted the arrest of a Dallas man Wednesday.
Walter Sims, 61, of Dallas was arrested when deputies located a kilo of cocaine hidden in sports equipment during the stop.
Sims is booked in OCC on the charge of one count possession with Intent to distribute/manufacture a schedule II controlled and dangerous sustance.
