Have purchased a BMW as you have asked about. No problems whatsoever

Twice I've had CPO vehicles, one a 2012 Range Rover that I bought with about 15K on the clock and the other a 2019 Porsche Cayenne S I bought with 6K on the clock.
At least with those two companies, the CPO warranty is essentially a new car warranty, so there is no haggling over exclusions with third parties. The Range Rover warranty even payed for an air shock failure at 80K miles which was surprising to me. If you have an expensive car that can be expensive to fix and you plan to drive it a while, I think it is an excellent way to take advantage of someone else having taken the initial depreciation hit for you.

Just a note:
Cons of Leasing a Vehicle
•There are mileage restrictions. ...
•You have no ownership equity when you lease. ...
•Leasing may involve several potential charges and fees. ...
•Customization options are limited with leased vehicles. ...
•Payments continue for as long as you lease the vehicle. ...
•Insurance may cost more for a leased vehicle.
I was talking with my relative that owns 6 dealerships, lease programs were one of the best things to happen, in the car industry!
They get back a 1,2,3, 4 or 5 year old vehicle, have it certified, then they sell it.
As for Martin Peake BMW, he did give me and my family 4 tickets, in his suite, for a Saints game. TGBFTL was preforming for halftime.

Be smart with your money, if buying used, Toyota or Honda.

That’s the only way I’d buy used. Certified through dealer usually has better warranty than new.
Certified Lexus/ Toyota vehicles have been awesome

I have been buying them for quite a while. I put high mileage on my vehicle and the unlimited mileage warranty is a no brainer. Saved 25% off new car price as well. It has worked well for me. Vehicle was a year old with 10,000 miles

priced about 12-20% below original MSRP.
Thats it? Might as well buy new

I’m considering the same thing, but with a CPO Cayenne for the wife.

We always buy loaners bc we’re the first titled owners and you don’t take the off the lot depreciation. If it’s got a warranty, why not??

I have a 2019 cayenne with 150,000+miles and it’s running like a charm. Love that car, gonna drive it till the wheels fall off.

Based on data, I would not buy a used BMW. It makes zero financial sense. One could argue new is a waste as well.
