No. I just want something stable and generally easy to find a job anywhere. City, country, suburb, etc.

I'll put in the work.

IT and information systems aren't the same thing. One is compiling, warehousing, and manipulating data. The other is telling Steve in procurement to restart his computer when word doesn't work.

as much as it pains me to agree with Mingo, ever. this is correct.

If you are talented enough in IT, have enough experience, and/or work hard enough. Gupta and you won't be working on the same floor, much less working the same jobs. And at worst, you'll be telling Gupta how, when, and why to reboot customer Joe Blow's laptop. Then bitching him out for not doing it fast enough.

The issue you would run into is if you have no experience and are trying to get a ground level IT job to gain experience. Yes, it's much cheaper to pay MSPs and call centers in India for low level jobs that don't involve actual troubleshooting or thinking. You'll find out, most MSPs are absolute shite.

4. Any school suggestions are appreciated? I'm considering Arizona State University.

I will be making a call to my alma mater today to give them a heads-up on this possibility. We can't just let anyone in. Sorry, Volod...I hope you can understand.
