This Quarantine has shown, even though we have more ways to communicate and stay in touch with the world, there is no replacement for human interaction, younger people today would rather text someone in the other room than to get up and go talk to them, maybe this will make them realize how special it really is.
It also shows how quick it can all be gone, in my wildest dreams I never thought this could happen but here we are, lets all stay safe and maybe we will meet in person some day instead of TD.

Do you know any young people?

I'm 27, grew up with smartphones, my wife and I text back and forth in a 700 sq ft apartment if we are in the bathroom/kitchen.

I am not missing human interaction one bit.

It’s ok, just what I expected from the kids.

Your post has proven to me that some people should use periods more frequently.

According your original post, it seems like this is the opposite of what you expected from "the kids".

Heaven forbid someone is more more efficient. The amount of time you boomers waste walking around or physically meeting to ask a question that can be solved via email or text is baffling.

I'm so confused by the "younger people" thing. Isn't the big gripe about younger people that they're still hanging with their friends and not taking this seriously?

I thought you were going to say that the word Quarantine literally means 40 day period. That's how long Italian cities such as Venice would make sailors wait on their ships before getting off in case they had the plague. (Originally, it was 30 days and was called Trentino).

I'm wondering how this one will compare to the 40 day time frame.

I for one am enjoying the quarantine. Being rude and antisocial as patriotic duty.

It's also proven that with so much information available and easily shared, there is still an alarming number of ignorant morons.

That's a bit of an exaggeration dont you think? Kida still play outside with other kids, and highschoolers still hang out with friends. Id also think that with things like tinder, people are even having more sex these days.
