US planes are designed and built to a higher standard and it's not even close. If you're hoping that his bigger plan is to draw NATO into a war that's a stupid fricking plan I would hope even the worst of the US army could find a way to take a city defended by a third rate army and vitali Klitschko running around with an AK

This is what happens when you try to half arse a war. They can absolutely destroy Ukraine, but they are trying to avoid civilian casualties, destroying roads, bridges, power systems, etc. which would cripple the area for years and turn the population against them more than now. They basically are hoping for an Afghanistan Taliban situation where they just give up and take over.

Such an absurd take. Russia is now, and has always been, a paper tiger outside of their own borders. Putin miscalculated international response, and now he's caught with his pants down. In my opinion, this conflict is going to utterly expose the fact that Russia is no longer the international player it pretends to be.

There is only one other Air Force that comes even remotely close to our standards of maintaining aircraft. It is Israel. But they don't have the numbers we do. Simply having aircraft doesn't mean your air force is good. We have a mission capable rate of 70% across the board for all airframe. Russia has less than 40%. If your talking about putting planes in the air and flying in circles then maybe they get to 60%
