Not likely. Maybe with all the alone time you now have, you're just posting to fight the sadness.

Tigerland needs to be bulldozed

It won’t, and so instead of it coming to this, we should take lessons from it and how the concept of overbuilding and putting lifespans on property in Baton Rouge is a terrible idea for the future of a city, and it always devolves to a ghetto when we do so. Instead, invest and maintain property like you are wanting to be there for years to come, not become gypsies and move wherever the caravan is going next, leaving a pile of rubble and trash in your wake for someone else to pick up later.

Honest

And nobody that isn’t ghetto wants to live in a ghetto, especially blacks who aren’t ghetto, and don’t want to raise kids in a ghetto. This serves nobody.

The incident happened on Y. A. Tittle Avenue in Tigerland just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30.

Lived on YA Tittle my freshman year in 2011. Got to the point where walking the short stretch home from the bar got uncomfortable.

I lived in Tigerland in the early 80s. The apartments were crappy but other than that it was a great place for a student to live. On bus route, easy walking distance to campus and bars, cheap rent, 90% students and no section 8. Met some folks there I'm still friends with. We used to barbecue and boil crawfish in the parking lot and occasionally get the police called on us for being too loud.

One Person Critical After Stabbing

Was it poor stabbing technique? Is said person an expert on blades, like a butcher, or trained in knife combat?

A lot of people in here are definitely critical of the current condition of Tigerland.

Everyone hates a critic.
