Been there, done that. Nothing has been effective. Trying a new specialist next week, but not particularly optimistic. Hoping you guys know of something I haven’t tried at this point. Not sure it’s out there.

I dont have experience with any of that so my advice wont be any good, but all I will say is hang in there! Talk to family, friends, or even us internet strangers even though most of us are assholes.

Hang in there man. I have been going through a spell of pretty major depression the last few weeks, but it always helps to have someone to talk to. We're all in this together

2 of the 3 at one time or another. A few simple, cost-free home remedies for at least anxiety:

1. Clean up your living space.
2. Make a meal that you would enjoy. Not microwaved... made by hand.
3. Go for a walk, preferably in the woods/by a lake... something to give you a sense of your natural surroundings.
4. Try a breathing/meditation exercise. Example.

I've never talked to a therapist or anything but talking to close friends has helped more than anything.

Just getting out of my own head and letting other people in was extremely comforting to me.

Weed sometimes makes my anxiety amplified quite a bit. Make sure that you are smoking the right weed.

OP, just know that it always gets better. Just ride the storm(s) out, and try and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Focus on things that truly makes you happy. Lord knows its hard, though, and sometimes circumstances can be beyond your control. But I know you can do it.

You're not alone.

It can be like cleaning and looking into a the dirty mirror you've been distracting yourself from. Maybe I'm alone on that one.

Psychedelic Microdosing is something new. I can’t vouch for it, but lots of literature published recently.

I e with all three. I beg GOD to kill me every day and night. You have to except the fact that you are on this crap hole for some reason and it’s up to Him when you leave. I know it sucks and it’s like jail but that’s the reality. Find healthy distractions buddy.

If you have the money for therapy, I encourage you to find a good one and go for it. Be honest and let out all of your emotions. I was skeptical but it ahs done me a world of good.

My two cent therapy advise - try to mentally detach yourself from the thoughts you are scared of or that make you depressed. Realize that you are separate from those things and that they do not define who you are.

Taking action is the enemy of depression. Sounds weird, but it's true.

Thanks for the link. I’ve got tons of meditation apps, but it’s nice to have another option. I’d hoped this thread would be more helpful, but sounds like I’m doing everything that’s the norm - it just isn’t working.
