That makes no sense. Why didn’t the city council veto the mayor’s veto of the original veto?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Waste Management is pretty terrible.
Maybe they are better than Richard's but that isn't saying much.
I Don't live in Jxn (I'm in one of the burbs), but WM, at least in my neighborhood for the last six years has been excellent. I swear I'm continually amazed by what they pick up, heck I think they'll pick up a nuclear weapon if one was left out on trash day.

Ridarhds Disposal
I know it's not politically correct but I don't think ridarhds should be allowed behind the wheel of a dump truck.

There is no safe space in the Southeastern US. Parts of Florida and Alabama MAYBE? I wish it didn't snow in Montana and Wyoming. Where can I go where it doesn't snow and it is still a decent place to live?
Rural Arkansas. Southern Missouri is pretty as well, will get a little snow but nothing terrible.

True. But years ago Luanda actually started creating paved roads and did pick up huge piles of garbage

Because the mayor would have just vetoed the councils veto of the mayor's veto of the councils veto.
Duuuhhhhh

That’s idiotic. You can’t veto a triple veto. You should study the rules of veto.

You can if you veto the rules of veto first.

The triple veto is final. Once the triple veto rule is broken there is nothing but chaos and anarchy. Naked people running through the streets, dogs fornicating with cats, nothing but pure insanity sir.

So Jxn, the murder capitol of the country, has no water, the worst roads in America, the worst school system you'll find and no trash pickup (along with many other undesirable attributes).
But they have Millsaps College

The Mayor sets the narrative in the media and blames others when he is the issue. Jackson residents love him and would vote for him again even though he has no business running a city. No water, rampant crime, terrible roads, anti-police, awful school district all under his administration.

What happens when a major city government collapses? Does the state take over administration of the city?
