I don't know about "worst" since that implies "bad" and they aren't bad trucks.
It is pretty clear that they don't spend the money on R and D like Ford and GM spend for this segment.
I think Tundra buyers have generally had a previous bad experience with the Big 3 or have had a really good experiences with Toyota products overall.
I've never really heard anyone say they were really dissatisfied w/ a Tundra.
All that said, just looking at the 4 main players in the light truck segment and comparing features and value, I think most unbiased reviewers would say Ford and GM lead the pack.

Sorry guys, wasn't trying to derail. I only meant that RB tried to skin me. Ford makes a damn fine truck

502A package is the shite though. Those LED headlights and auto-brights are amazing. I can't imagine this truck without the nav either.

What is the difference in price? Everything I look at on Fords website says $7995 adder. Not sure if that is worth it to me

After package discounts, 502 adds just under $4k to the bottom line when compared to an identical 501 truck. $5500 more compared to the base 500 level.

This is all true. I'd give the edge to Ford though because they have a plethora of cool doodads and doohickeys and seem to spend the most on R&D due to that in general and also because of their advanced engines. GM is still running pushrod motors and their standard V8, the 5.3, (the 6.2 is a rare option on the highest trim, whereas with ford you can get an EcoBoost on an XLT) is behind the pack on power. The GMC Sierra is the best looking truck out there right now though.

And yet it's just as fast as the Tundra while delivering 14% better fuel efficiency. The 5.3 is largely unchanged because it works so well.

This I agree with. I wish I could take some of Ford's tech and put it in the Denali. It'd be my perfect truck.

You know I thought the same thing for a while (besides a ford) but they really messed it up when they changed the front end this year.
Way too much going on and now the Chevy looks better to me.

Thanks. That is more reasonable. I'm guessing $43K is doable with 502?

I have the exact opposite opinion. Can't stand the new Chevy front end. Looks great from straight on, but from an angle just looks weird.
I think GMC knocked the refresh out of the park.
Let's argue about it for 10 pages

Not for a 4wd I don't think. A good starting point is seeing what Mac Haik Ford is offering.

I recently purchased a used 2015 F150 king ranch fx4 super cab. Great truck. Had 10000 miles on it and the previous owner got every option available. Great truck compared to my 2008 Tundra that I was the only owner of. Technology in the Ford is amazing.

That's just your opinion
The tundra was a better truck, duh

Seems a lot of people in this thread don't understand what reliability and quality is.
I've gotten more trouble free miles out of my last gas powered domestic truck than the last Camry we had. Both of them actually.

It's the worst one you can buy now. Doesn't mean it's a bad truck since it's a very competitive field. Of all the new trucks you can buy today, every one of them is more competitive than the Tundra now.

Yeah, I agree.
I was just trying to make sure the Tundra guys didn't shoot your porch light out.
