The original motive was that she was pregnant, he had another girlfriend, and that he shot her 8 times.
If she was drunk and possibly not pregnant, they got into an argument in his truck and she pulled the gun out of the truck glove box, and then she was shot once that would be a different story. (Not saying any of the latter is true)

Also pregnant and being stupid and drinking anyway. That isn't out of the realm of possibilities for a 21 year old college kid who accidentally got knocked up and hasn't told her parents or most of her friends.

Not many of the rumors that implicated Brandon are busted though. The 8 rounds, that's about it.
We keep hearing about blood soaked clothes, him having a gun, surveillance evidence, etc.

Doesn't seem to be much doubt that Brandon killed her. Doesn't seem to be much doubt that he's a POS. But there's some doubt between if he should be on death row or serving 20 years.

I'd give anything right now to see his texts/ phone conversations.... like if he did in fact kill her... was his first phone call to his dad in a panic or what went down with that.

I'd be surprised if he called his parents, why was he found in Memphis if so? If he called his parents, I can't believe the police would have found him and he would not have gone to a lawyers office first thing.
Fort Worth is 8 hours away. His parents should have been around at the time of his arrest if that happened.

Nobody was expected out there because the water level was high. The kids from Ole Miss don't go there when the water level is up because it is too deep to ride their 4 wheelers.

In my 9 years of living in Oxford all Throughout college and now present, I’ve never heard of anybody going to the north side of Sardis to hang out. It might be a thing now since they barricaded old Sardis road off so people can’t ride their trucks out there.
