As a mother, my mind keeps going back to the victim here. It absolutely breaks my heart that her last days on earth were so shitty. There she was, pregnant, and she had very little support. I seriously doubt her parents knew of the pregnancy, or I think they would have been there with her. As a mom, there is no poor decision my child could make or bad circumstance she could find herself in that could ever make me stop loving her. I might be disappointed, and my heart might break for her reduced opportunities if she found herself in that situation, but I would do everything in my power to be there for my child. That’s why I think her parents did not know. It sounds like the only support she had at that point was her friend Rileigh.
Here’s another bit of information about sororities at Ole Miss: the girls dropping out after not getting the bids they wanted was so bad that Ole Miss actually had to move bid day to later in the semester—after the last day to drop classes. Sorority rush week now happens well into the fall semester—not before school starts like at most universities.

Well said, but I read somewhere else that she had told her parents. They were all working through things. She was trying to finish up and graduate earlier by taking summer classes.

This is all message board fodder so I'll apologize ahead of time, but nothing in those texts makes me believe she is pregnant. She may be, but those also read like a desperate person text. Especially where she is putting ultimatums on having to leave town, not be able to do stuff, etc. The guy doesn't want you to have a kid, saying stuff like that doesn't make it better it makes it worse. Those read more like she is trying to play him to me.
This guy clearly wanted nothing to do with a relationship with her. He looks to have another girlfriend.
In 2019, I don't know why you would keep a baby for a one night stand or summer fling. Your morals aren't that high to get an abortion if you are having a summer sex fling. Not to mention, likely having sex without birth control.
I'm just saying I've seen some chicks do some crazy shite to get a guy or get a guy back that was worse then those texts. Again she didn't deserve anything no matter what, I was just commenting on the texts actually appearing to seem like she was pregnant.

If the son is a sociopath, he has likely hid it from alot of people
If my son never got in trouble before, and all of a sudden he is wanted for killing his college girflriend and shooting her 8 times, I would likely believe he was innocent if he pled to me too
