Yep. A lot of the kids are BR or NOLA private school kids whose parents sent them off because of expulsion, failed drug tests, or a run in with the law. Contrary to popular belief it isn't that bad of a school ACADEMICALLY. The one year I went they had the most national merit students in Mississippi. Which may not say much but you get my point.

I'd be willing to bet a main reason why they are brushing it off is that a good chunk of this board was in a frat in college and need to defend the "brothers" their parents had to shell out money for so that they can buy some "friends"
