In my day, it was 15 to drive, 18 to drink, and 21 to gamble..and I was doing the last two pursuits at least three to four years before those legal ages.

I would like to forget my age, but the world reminds you. AARP, Medicare, funeral plans, hearing aids, life insurance solicitations in the mail every day. Young people saying who cares if the old people die. One day it will be you.

i am over 60... i do not like or get the big deal of birthdays after 18-21 years old ...but i know how old i am
once i hit 65 and start taking ss and medicare maybe i will stop being aware...
i will say i forget the day sometimes... but that is retirement and covid in texas .......

I think forgetting what day it is is fairly common for retirees. Everyday feels like a Saturday.
