would even any charities take them?
i bought this model when i bought my house in 04, and at the time it was excellent. 32', non hd, weighhs about 200 lbs and about 3 feet deep. cost me about $1300. its stunning how much it changed even 2 years later

Someone who collects retro games would buy that from you for like 30-40$
So if thats worth the hassle go for it.

I see box tvs at thrift stores all the time. If it works, they'll take it.

We brought an old flat screen out to an open field and shot it with an SKS.

Yes, they will. I gave away a big Sony Trinitron (?) last summer. They even came to my house to pick it up.

I was moving and had two. Goodwill didn't even want them. We blew them up

Put it out at the curb where the garbage is picked up. Someone will take it.

Agreed. My son and his friends play vintage games and they can only be played on older TVs. At least that is what he tells me.

Drop it off a 4 story building and email the video to David Letterman.
To all the other OTers, yes I know he retired.

lots of charities take them. i also believe colleges take them (i think engineering departments re-use a lot of the components, maybe e-school people can correct me if i'm wrong there).

I've been searching for that exact model for years. I'll pay you 100,000 US dollars for it

The can only be played on older tv's if you dont want them looking terrible. New HDTVs suck for the old stuff unless you buy a 300$ upscaler from japan, then they look amazing.

I put one about that size on the curb about one year ago. It was gone within 30 minutes. I did put a sign on it that said in working condition.
