Find a bridge over your favorite body of water and chunk it in water. Underwater TV turns into structure for sac-a-lait, therefore helping the local fishermen. It's a win-win for everyone.

Saw one on the NE corner of Choctaw and Joor this morning.
Last one I got rid of I put out at the street and the Mexicans that were replacing my roof took it.

Back in the Summer I brought an old 36" Sony that weighed as much as a small SUV to St. Vincent DePaul on Plank Rd. It was sold before I even had it unloaded and I got a little tax write off from it.

I had a 52 inch Hibachi flat screen that was pretty damn big that I had to unload a couple years ago. It wasn't HD but other than that it was a pretty sweet TV if you weren't tight on space. Couldn't even sell it for $50. Eventually said frick it and put it out by the curb where it was picked up.

Someone on craigslist will buy it for $50. Bonus is, they will come to where you are, pick it up and leave with it. Its like getting paid for someone to take your trash.

I threw my old 36" tube TV off of the parking garage at Southgate. Missed the dumpster by about 10ft, but it was awesome. That's my suggestion
