I just shaved for the first time in a year and was at wal mark looking for after shave. Saw old spice and thought "smells like a grandpa" but then the quote on the box made me buy it.

They definitely started the hold weird commercial trend you're starting to see everywhere.

My grandpa didn't use after shave. He owned a bar, so he probably smelled like cigs 90% of the time. The argument is invalid, Old Spice.

That is actually spot on - my grandfather, God rest his wonderful soul, did use Old Spice. I can still see that bottle in his medicine cabinet over the bathroom sink.
Thanks for the memory.

I like to use witch hazel as an after shave. Give it a shot.

Mine used old spice also, and baby powder for deodorant.

Interesting. I don't recall Old Spice ever being around in our family's household. I remember my grandfather (mom's side) always using this stuff:

I remember my father always using this:

I wear Old Spice myself sometimes. I smell just like my Paw Paw and my Dad at times. Memories. What I would give to smell them both one more time.
