My oldest daughters school has no cafateria but they offer hot lunch, they order from a local resturant and its not bad either. Where I went to HS we had a hot lunch line, sandwich line and Salad/baked potato bar...if everything looked gross can't go wrong with a potato and sald.

Nice....found the Katy ISD lunch menu online.

Ah the memories.........

LINK

Those cheese quesadillas were clutch. They would make them like grilled cheese.

We used to have actual french bread pizzas. Awesome.

The rolls were out of this world.

Hamburger/Chicken Patty/Fish Portion day was great -- many didn't eat their sandwich so I could double up if I sat in the right place.

The rib was a bit of an enigma -- a piece of meat shaped like "ribs" that tasted like old socks.

Red beans and rice was always a good meal.

Spaghetti with the rolls. You tear a chunk out the roll and fill it with the spaghetti.

I hated school lunches

I quit eating school lunches in 7th graded when I saw a cockroach crawl out of the mashed potatos on a classmate's tray.

I brown bagged it from then on.
