I miss Fry’s Electronics, record stores such as Record Bar or Sound Shop.
I always liked Suncoast.
Sears for their tool section.

More than anything, I miss stereo stores. I remember going into Howard Griffin Sound Center and experiencing that unique smell that they had.

Sears…because Sears was a big part of mall culture, and reading their catalogs bought a lot of joy. I drove by the mall of LA and looked at where Sears used to be. It’s kind of sad that part of my childhood is dead and a kind reminder that everything about that era including myself will be gone one day.

Mi wish I could find pdfs of their farm and ranch catalogs and toy catalogs.
PDFs of Sears, Wards and Pennys Christmas catalogs are on archive.org.

Yeah but what I’ve seen they’re gonna be boutique type stores such as Learning express.
