I bet it hurts most in the morning.... waking up all alone.
Why are you still in this thread?
ALL of you do nothings trying to make your own rules about generations...smh.
Boomers ruined the country... we make the rules.

When I think millennial I’m thinking a kid 19-29 years old.
Millennials are about 24-36ish
Close enough

You were driving to school as a freshman?

5 and 7 years
19 year olds had smart phones with social media when they came of age.
Myspace was a thing in high school, but not everyone had it and it wasn't the easiest in terms of finding people. Facebook came to us in 2006, my senior year so it really didn't affect much of our developmental years.

I got my learner's permit early freshman year. October baby and I missed the cutoff for the grade ahead of me.

1977 - 1983 are the in between years. Too young for gen x and too old for millennial
SFP was talking about this one time in here. I was born in early 81 and I think he’s a couple of years younger. There is a pocket of a few years where kids growing up really did live in almost two different worlds. Personally I wasn’t exposed to the internet until I got to LSU and didn’t get a cellphone until my junior year there. My brother in law born a year before me on early 1980 had both of those things in high school. You could say he had a lot more “millennial” tendencies than myself or even my brother who is four years younger than me.
Access to technology seems to be more of a reliable generational organizer than specific birth years, especially as that technology grows so dramatically.

I'm on mobile. Sorry for the mess up.
I'm glad I gave you something to complain about.

Yeah, we have a 36/37 year old in our office who is sort of caught in the middle of the boomer/X/millennial turf wars. I think I saw an article last year giving them a stupid xillennial moniker.
These threads are annoying because you always have outlier guy who was on the internet or had some shitty Gordon Gekko cell phone 10 years before most people acting as if everyone was using the same tech at the time.
