Old heads should have restricted driving privileges

For the 3rd time in as many weeks, I’ve had to slam on brakes to avoid an accident because of some blue hair not driving worth a damn and each time it was after dark and 2 of the times it was a woman (and this one was on her damn flip phone gabbing up a storm the WHOLE DAMN TIME even after I pulled up at the stoplight by her and waved and honked at her)
There really needs to be some federal regulation on this shite. Can’t drive after dark, have to pass a driving test every year, something. These old tops got their license when Eisenhower was in office and haven’t taken a driver’s test since.

As long as they drive at reasonable rate of speed, they are fine with me. I’m not sure what’s going on with BR, but it’s like 30% of drivers are incapable of exceeding 35 mph on highways.

I had to slam on brakes because I was in the right lane and she decided to come over into my lane despite only two feet, if that, of her car being in front of car. She literally didn’t look and I’m lucky I just so happen to look over right when she started pulling over into my lane or I’d be on the phone with my insurance.
Literally held my horn for 15 seconds and she had no reaction.

Anyone on here that lives in Charleston will tell you are 3 worst drivers are:
3. Old people
2. Yankees
1. Old Yankees
All 3 were number 3 and at least one was a 1, because I saw the Jersey plate. I can’t make people use turn signals when they change lanes or turn. Or make them pay attention when they change lanes. Or make them stop running red lights.

I agree old people are an issue and should be required to test every few years to keep their license. But they’re not alone. I drive roughly 150-200 miles a day and from what I see, the 25 and under crowd are terrible drivers.

My old spinster neighbor just told me some weirdo man was honking at her and yelling for her to blow him or something. She was talking to her sister and told her too——while she was driving. Egads!
